Coping
---
Vision salted by forced ignorance.
The barrier from emotional impotence.
Instinct's omission of life's facts.
The mission to smother, then suffocate,
any painful memory that permeates.
Feelings translated into physical action:
ticks or habits, pain or isolation.
Without reason: all a sly, mitigating reflex.
A coverup to censor real understanding...
Endless goose chase, a cycle reoccurring.
Fissures dividing regulation and sincerity,
shifting decisions out of despite necessity.
Slipping out of control, patchwork compounds:
No more self - instead hollow, happy smiles.
In the end, we are all no more than fragile.
